The Central.AI (R&D subproject 2) is the central AI of the KI.FABRIK, and is responsible for planning complex, autonomously reconfigurable production chains with a large number of AI.Robots and human specialists, as well as the logistics processes in pre-and post-processing. The Central.AI is constantly networked with AI.Robots and production facilities, and provides them with information such as navigation data, task-specific knowledge, or solutions for upcoming tasks. In this subproject, the autonomous planning and modeling of PaaS processes, as well as the integration of human specialists in task planning, are being researched in particular. Furthermore, the planning of logistics processes and the coordination of several AI.Robots are directly tested in prototypical operation in the KI.FABRIK.
